A Heartfelt Engagement Session at Sutro Park and Lands End
This session was such a joy to photograph. The couple brought their adorable new corgi puppy, Juni, and we spent the evening capturing their connection in two of San Francisco’s most scenic locations—Sutro Park and Lands End.
The day began with a thick blanket of fog, and I’ll admit, I was a little unsure about how the light would play out. But sometimes the unexpected makes for the best moments. As we started the shoot, the fog began to lift and the sun broke through, casting a soft golden glow across the landscape. It felt cinematic—like we had the whole coast to ourselves.
With the dramatic cliffs, winding trails, and ocean views, these locations created a beautiful, intimate setting. Juni, their playful pup, added so much spontaneity and laughter throughout the shoot. Whether they were walking hand in hand along the trail or crouching down to play with Juni, their joy and love for each other was effortless to capture.
This engagement session was filled with real emotion, quiet moments, and a lot of fun. I’m so grateful I got to document this chapter in their story—and I can’t wait to see what comes next for them (and for Juni).
