Fall Family Mini Sessions in San Francisco

Two mornings this October, on the sand at Crissy Field with the Golden Gate framing everything behind you. Twenty minutes, guided the whole way, made for the version of your family that actually shows up: the real laughs, the kid who will not sit still, the in-between moments that end up being your favorites.

You walk away with a gallery in time for the holidays, and enough good frames to argue over which one goes on the card.

Twenty Minutes. Zero Stiff Poses.

You do not need to wrangle everyone into matching smiles. I direct the whole thing, keep it moving, and photograph your family the way it actually is. All you have to do is show up.

How It Feels

Come As You Are

Bring the whole crew. Grandparents, the dog, the toddler who will inevitably melt down at minute eighteen. I have photographed enough families to know the good stuff lives in the chaos, not around it. Wear what feels like you, show up a few minutes early, and let me handle the rest.

By the time you are back in the car, you will have the kind of photos you actually want to print.

Fall Mini Session Questions, Answered

Where do we meet at Crissy Field?

I send the exact meeting spot in your booking confirmation. Park in the lot or the street spots along Mason Street, a short, stroller-friendly walk from where we meet. Parking here is paid and regulated seven days a week, so plan to pay by plate through the PayByPhone app or an on-site station when you arrive. It runs a couple of dollars an hour, and one hour covers your session with time to spare. There is no grace period, so pay before you walk over.

What should we wear?

Coordinated, not matching. Soft, warm tones photograph beautifully against the bay in the morning light. I send a short outfit guide once you book, and you are welcome to run looks by me beforehand.

What if my kids will not cooperate?

That is expected, and it is genuinely not a problem. Twenty minutes is enough, I keep things playful and moving, and some of the best frames come from the meltdowns and the recoveries right after. You do not need picture-perfect behavior. You just need to show up.

When do we get our photos?

Your edited gallery arrives within 7 to 14 days, in time to order holiday cards. You receive at least 15 final images, delivered digitally.

What happens if it rains?

October mornings in San Francisco are usually clear and beautiful, but if the weather truly does not cooperate, I will reach out to move you to the other date or a makeup morning. Your payment carries over, so you are never left out.

Can I book a longer session instead?

Absolutely. Mini sessions are a short, seasonal offering. If you want a full family session with more time, more locations, and a larger gallery, reach out and we will build something around you.
